Cheshire Nursery.
We crop 4 acres over two nursery sites in Timperley, Cheshire. We grow a wide range of bedding plants, pot plants and ornamentals including a range of specials which are very popular with our customer base. All of these are listed in our Catalogue and Availability lists – See Request Catalogue page
Although Double 6 and Double 12 bedding plants have been very popular products for us for many years, we now find that many of the new plant varieties tend to be vegetative and thus need to be pot grown. Examples include Kong and New Coleus, both of which need to be grown in a 2 litre pot. We are also looking at other varieties which will require 4 litre pots.
Cheshire Nursery Expansion.
We have recently extended our latest poly tunnel. With automated
vented sides and a 3metre roof the extension has increased
its capacity by over 30%. The investment allows us to meet
the increasing demand for sales of core bedding plants and
also pot lines for later summer sales. These include Non-stop
Begonias, Fuscias, Geraniums and Rudbeakia.
Hanging Baskets – Spring, Summer & Autumn
We produce Spring, Summer and Autumn hanging baskets from
12” to 24” for garden centres, landscapers and
local authorities, to our own recipe or to clients’
own specification.
Pot Grown Wallflowers
We are originators of Pot Grown Wallflowers. This process increases the shelf life of the Wallflowers in the garden centre, as opposed to a bare rooted plant, which should be planted within days.
Christmas Hyacinths
Our range of Christmas Hyacinths are proving to be extremely popular and unfortunately we have been unable to meet demand in recent years. We plant the bulbs for our Christmas Hyacinths in the Summer, so to avoid disappointment, please register your interest in the Christmas Hyacinths as early in the year as possible.
