All delivery undertaken by our own transport using the Danish trolley system.


	Seeders.

We use a drum seeder and a natural seeder, allowing us better control of crop quality.

	Our client base has a range of service requirements. Some are essential in order to serve them to the level required to win and retain their business. To this list we have added several other aspects that many of our customers appreciate and value.

• Our operation is geared to supplying an order within 48 hours.

• Delivery is normally via our own transport fleet and we deliver on the inter changeable Danish trolley system. If empty trolleys are ready on arrival, a garden centre can accept a full load delivery in 10 minutes.

• We operate on a nation-wide, and international basis. Many of our customers who are spread across the UK buy from us because of the quality of our product and also because of the unusual and distinctive varieties that we grow ourselves from seed.

• Display benching for our plants can be supplied if required.

• Our facilities enable us to undertake contract growing of large volume requirements. This service is frequently used by landscapers and local authorities, to ensure that they get the exact type and quality of plant they require, precisely when they want it, and in the volumes needed.
This is a growing part of our business and one that we are keen to develop further with our customers.

• Growing from our own seed is an integral part of our business. This enables us to offer varieties that are not available as plugs from the seed suppliers. Much of our initial business with clients is won because we can provide ‘something different’, to a high quality standard.

• We offer pre-pricing and bar coding.

• All products have colour descriptive labels. We can also print a label with the customer’s garden centre name, price and bar code.

• We seek to develop mutually beneficial relationships with our customers. Trial ground visits are very popular and we find that they are an excellent way of keeping clients’ staff up to date with all of the new varieties available. We recommend that clients, existing and new, visit us where we can demonstrate our facilities and agree how we can best meet your needs.

Local Authority Contracts.

We are enjoying an increasing level of business with local authorities around the country. Recent new customers are North Lincolnshire, for whom we supply all of the Summer bedding plants for Scunthorpe.

Working through Jordans Exterior Designers we now supply the town centre baskets for Coalville local authority.

We now supply large volumes of bedding plants to Halton Borough Council.

For Environmental Services, Manchester City Council we supply bedding plants for local residents to plant in containers as part of the very successful Alley Gater home security scheme.

Website Success.

We launched our website in early 2005 and are very encouraged with the response to it. We receive a high number of daily visits and an increasing number of our clients now find it more convenient to place their orders with us through the website system.

We are also pleased with the level of new enquiry and new clients who have found us through our website. These include a garden centre in Bangor, North Wales, landscapers in Stockport and Romsey, Hampshire, local council enquiries as far apart as Welwyn Garden City and Dundee and a farm shop in Buckinghamshire.
